Hunter Arnold, 12, who lives on a farm near Hazel, S.D., and has type 1 diabetes, shows a tube of glucose gel, which he uses if his blood suger gets too low, on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at the Sanford Children’s Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.
