GEORGE TOWN: Universiti Sains Malaysia plans to focus on new niche scientific research segments in 2015.

USM vice-chancellor Datuk Dr Omar Omsan said they comprise archaeology, drug addiction studies, halal vaccines, green technologies, disaster mitigation and local knowledge enhancement.
