GST in Healthcare

While healthcare is generally supposed to be exempt from the upcoming GST, the reality is more complicated.
Most Malaysians probably breathed a sigh of relief when it was initially announced that healthcare would, in general, be exempted from the upcoming Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Research Ethics Committee has been reinstated and is now registered with the Drug Control Authority under the National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau. The HUKM Research Ethics Committee is now able to accept submissions for ethics approval.
